I have read so many of his books and enjoyed them all. So much so, that I don't think I could even choose a favourite book...

I thoroughly enjoyed George's Marvellous Medicine (especially when read by Rik Mayall on Jackanory)...

I loved Matilda.... The BFG...

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... The Witches... Danny the Champion of the World...

He wrote so many amazing stories, coupled with well recognized style of illustrations from Quentin Blake... it was the perfect combination for a magical childhood.

​In this day and age of modern technology, many of us have access to mobile phones with notes apps, hand held tablets, laptops etc and we utilise them more than our brains a lot of the time!

Yes, they can save time, yes, it is just one thing to carry with you, yes, they often have huge amounts of storage... 

BUT, for me personally, nothing beats a good old notebook and pen.

I ALWAYS have a notebook on my desk.... actually, I normally have multiple notebooks in my workspace lol.

I use different books for different things, as well as having a general book that has a bit of everything in it... whatever was buzzing around my head in the moment lol.

I realise they are slightly more bulky if you are travelling but there is just something about putting pen to paper and being able to allow the words and pictures to be channelled out of my body, through my hands and to see them dancing across the page.

Maybe it's just me, but I love having a physical book to doodle in, rather than an app.

I find it so helpful to have somewhere to jot down ideas as they strike. I could be watching something on my computer or listening to something on my phone, but when inspiration strikes, I reach for my favourite pen and jot it all down, in the hopes that I don't forget it and will be able to take action on the idea in the near future.

Also, what happens when you get a new phone or it finally stops working? What about if your PC experiences the blue screen of d34th? What then? All of your ideas could be gone and lost forever! 

But we already know I'm a bit weird right? :D

​Hey all, Amy here today. I just wanted to share some observations that I have made over the last couple of months, regarding social media.

* My FB group appears to get more interaction than my FB page

* My IG grid appears to be seen and engaged with more than reels or stories

* By comparison, YT shorts get far higher views and likes than TT

* Videos under 1 minute seems to do better than longer 3-10 min videos on TT.

* The DISlike button on YT does NOT appear to count against you - any interaction is good interaction, when it comes to YT pushing your content out to a wider audience

Now, these points are, as I said, MY observations, MY experience. They may not be true for everyone. I have a small audience that I am working on growing and these have been my recent findings.
