We are visiting schools up and down the UK,
talking to the students about the basics of children's book creation,
from inspiration to publication.

The amount of content covered from the list will depend on the requirements of the school, the length of time scheduled and the age appropriateness of the topic for the classes we are working with.
The younger ones will experience a more simplified version of things and may take part in creating a character with us during the visit, as well as being given Jeremy Johnathan James Colouring Pages and a Character Creation Worksheet so that they can have a go at creating their own.
I will bring a soft toy version of my main character, Jeremy, so that the younger ones can pass him around and meet him. It also gives the little ones a more tactile experience.
The older ones are more likely to engage well in a Q&A session, in which we can answer questions on just about anything to do with creating a children's book, from start to finish. We can talk about a wide variety of topics from the list above and will have the opportunity to go into a few of the subjects in more detail. They too will be left with some activity sheets to complete after our visit.
The parents of pupils, will be offered the opportunity to order a copy of one of our books or journals at a discounted rate if they wish.
If you are interested in scheduling a visit or finding out how we might be able to cater for your classes (Primary and Secondary), please send us a message using the button below.
