Black History Month

​It's Black History Month and so we wanted to give our favourite black author a shout out.

Here at Rebel Books HQ we love Maya Angelou. ❤️

Maya was an American memoirist, popular poet, and civil rights activist.
She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry,
and is credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years!
That's amazing!

One of our favourite quotes of hers is "If you're always trying to be normal, you will
never know how amazing you can be."

And we all know my take on being normal :D Be a rebel, be amazing. ❤️
